Multi-SIM on iPad2

I'm currently owning an iphone. How do I request for a normal sim card at any singtel telco shop? And paying 5 dollar per month is better then 10 dollar!

Same situation as you.

I went to the ST shop at AMK Hub and did the request. Bring along your old SIM card. They will issue you 2 new SIM card. 1 for your iPhone which works with all functions including calls, test messages etc. The other is for iPad.

There will be activation fees as well. Activation is within 24 hours based on my past experience.

Hmm, I have already a micro-sim for iphone4 already. But still I need another one for my ipad. And I was told that if I already have an micro-sim for iphone, I need to pay 10 dollar more per month for another micro sim to use it on my ipad.

So is there ways to not pay 10 dollar every month but pay 5 dollar instead?

How much is the activation fee?

They will issue you new MicroSim cause for multi-sim it works kinda different. Not like you already have one and you just add one. Some master and slave theory.

For the activation, i think it cost me $20. Monthly, addition of $10.

Only StarHub does the $5/month thing for multiSIM i think.

Then can I request for a normal sim card and ask someone to cut for me instead of a micro sim?

Then I will pay $5 every month instead of $10.

yes i did that. on singtel. subscribed to normal multi sim. $5/mth. existing micro sim will be deactivated. then went to phone shop they use those puncher to punch out the micro sim cutout from the normal sim for both of the normal sims. paid a fee for that although if you have time to look around there will be pple offering free service.

So I just tell the singtel guy that I want to subscribe a normal sim for my other phone? And I find a shop that helps people to cut to micro-sim?

Is this the procedure?

I'm wondering if you subscribe multi-sim with normal USIM, they will issue you 2 normal USIM? Or they will issue you 1 normal USIM?

Anyone clarify?

Just tell them nicely that you want normal multi sim cards will do. As long they issued you 2 normal multi sim cards, the charge should be $5.35/mth. Well, you can confirm the monthly charges before signing the documents.
