Did you go to Apple store Orchard? Mine also has the bright spot issue, exactly at the same spot, above the home button, ipad pro 10.5 64gb wifi.

Warranty just ended in July this year, I called Apple last Friday, the senior advisor, did not acknowledge this issue and didn't allow for repair/exchange arrangement.

It seems this issue is also just not in Singapore as reported below:

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads...2115037/page-9
I'm also having the same issue, same spot too, an inch above home button. But warranty over so need to pay $668 for 1 to 1 exchange

Mine also same issue. Initially I also thought my screen protector is dirty. That time was still under warranty period.
Now realized is actually the screen white spot issue.
It is just above the home button.

Don't think apple will do anything.
I read on macrumour forum, alot users mentioned in europe n america, the staffs actually knew about this issue.

Just use lor
Normal usage won’t really affect much

Initially I didn’t want to change cause need to re paste the screen protector and it’s not cheap
But then I think about it since under warranty might as well change

But on white or grey background can see the white spot.

I using the defender casing with built in screen protector. So i dont have to apply screen protector.

Hope APPLE will have a recall.
$688 to replace is damn ex sia.

Doesn't matter whether you buy early or late. I bought mine in May this year and over a month later also have the same issue, went Apple Store to get a 1-1 exchange but my expensive screen protector have to sacrifice.

If need to pay because out of warranty, it's no longer called 1-1 exchange, it's actually purchasing a replacement set.

When I say I never buy early means if I buy early and now I know then the warranty over already.

I saw this white patch few months back but I thought its my screen protector so I didn’t care until I saw this thread.

My screen protector was $49

Is there any Nubox, Epi Centre or I Studio shops in Orchard?

I going to do a 1:1 exchange for my iPad next Tuesday. Sigh.. can say bye bye to my screen protector and iOS 11.4.1

Will be using this iPad until next year when I can upgrade my contract then I buy the 2018 11” iPad Pro
