Singtel multisim microsim card

Those who have gotten their iPad should be getting a microsim or additional sim from the telcos. Singtel has their multisim service offering microsim as well. But there's an additional subscription charge.

Multisim normal sim card is $5 a month
Multisim microsim card is $15 a month

Unknown users may not be aware that Singtel is openly charging users additional $10 a month just because they are using micro simcard which I find it unjustifiable. They could have just charged another 10-30 dollars to purchase the card even IF it's more expensive to produce.... But $120 a year???? There is no additional speed or data given for microsim.

I think they are just ripping users off and there's no reason why their should be a $10 diff compared to a normal sim card. What's your views? Anyone know the reasons and can enlighten me? I don't think the microsim can increase speed past 7.2mbps can it???

Yishun, I cut the sim to micro-sim for you, definitely cheaper at one time
cost only. Only need to pay me a small fee only.

This is not really about getting the sim card cheap but singtel isnreally taking this opportunity to charge consumers unreasonably.

Problem solved!
I just use scissors to cut (free-hand). Actually quite easy.

If you're referring to MultiSIM then yes, data limit is shared among your multiple devices.
