SmartSuit 2 (black & white) Review

After I got the SmartFit 2 by The Joy Factory. I got to know from their site there're more cases they producing which is not in the market yet. And I love their designs. Im a slim case person, I dun like case to add thickness and weight to the iPad's slim design. And lucky enuff, the case just came in last nite and I gotten the Black & the "White" version. Retailing $89.90

From the website. the white (white and silver) looks gd. but the real thing, its not that nice as compare to the web images. So i went ahead and use the Black version.

- I love the texture leather feel and smell.
- When iPad 2 is Snap On, very fitting.
- And also the internal snap on case have a layer of smooth felt material.
- iPad Cover lock / unlock working well.
- When closed, feel real slim and slightly heavy (lighter then the SwitchEasy Canvas)

Hi Roger,

Will the white gets dirty easily?

Welcome, just a personal review for everyone here.

Hi Roger,

Actually it's not white but silver. with white snap one case.
the cover is abit textured so maybe long usage will see it turn darker silver i guess.

Hi

I was wondering what the case is like standing in portrait mode??
Is it pretty stable? Please compare it to the smart cover from apple.

Also do the magnets set off the on/off feature if you wrap the cover all the way to around the back? I know some cases that do that.

noob qn: will the cover stick to the screen when inverted?
and in your opinion, the 89.90 is worth it?

Btw is the cover fixed to the backcase?
Or is it removable as in 1 cover 1 backcase?

When flip to the back, it wont stick to the back.
I feel its reasonable if compare to SwitchEasy Canvas, $10 more you get leather + slimmer case as well as lighter in weight.

Yes its fixed on as a whole case. Just snap on the iPad 2.

Slightly heavier but still ok.

what i meant was: is the magnet strong enough to remain close on the screen, even when the screen face down?
