Water went into ipad.

Hi guys,

The water sensor so fast activated with a red line.
Now ipad no sound and volume button not working.

Can someone please help.....or recommend a good and cheap repairman.

I support his suggestion and will advise you the same thing: put your iPad into a bin of rice fully submerged for a few days.

i dont think there is any method to make the red line goes away..

warranty is void..but if it is still workable..shouldnt be an issue..

on the upside, warranty void means no need to spend an additional $158 for AppleCare... just be thankful that its still working...

I also dont know why my son forgot to tighten his water bottle.
DONT ASK HOW!!!
Anyway, think i am going to get it replace paying $557 tomorrow.
At least cheaper than buying a new one.......
Walk round the whole sim lim ...... but no one willing to repair it.
Heard its quite difficult to open ipad....iphone is much easier.

What if you already paid for AppleCare?

Does it transfer to the replacement unit ?
