I have a question hopefully u guys can help. Moderators if u think its the wrong thread for my question can delete pls. thanks.
Question:
I am currently on the $75 plan (40GB and weekend free data) for 2years. I m planning to get iphone 12 pro max on 13 Nov. Because i am hub member, so i can renew after 1 year with $300 penalty but can offset with $200 voucher.
So the question i have is, do starhub allow me to continue w this currently $75 plan?
or will they ask me switch to $95 plan? or can i downgrade to $65 plan?
Thanks
only can downgrade after 24 months. In your case, unlikely cause you will utilitse the 13 months upgrade for $300.
So you can only choose same or higher price plan.
The "old" 4G $75 is still available, but it is $80 now. (without 5G)
I hope you are right. The $65 plan now seems more wu huaI guess you are wrong... last year I’ve recontracted using hubclub discounts. I’ve downgraded my plan from $105 to $75. I’m not sure in the recent months is there any changes in terms and conditions.

Thank everyone for all your advice and even trying out .... really appreciate!
I main think i like about my current $75 plan is the free weekend data.
Just wondering the $65+ plan has weekend free as well?
Weekend free data is not longer free for both 4G n 5G plans.
$75 plan has changed to $80 alrdy.
Ditto what qwerty_hippo said. The weekend data-free not available for new 4g/5g plans.
Previously unlimited weekend data can be subscribed at $6/mth. Not sure if they still have that
The upfront is about $250 cheaper right? Unless really need more than 30gb per month otherwise $95 is really exIIRC, have S$6 add-on. but if you calculate total price for 2 years including upfront phone cost, might be wiser to get $95 plans with 60gb, 5G and lower upfront cost.
ya lor, probably not earning margins, so they increased pricing to $80 + removed weekend data.
tbh, I think most ppl weekend stay home n used wifi
