I suggest you go for it since no cost involved by do it by mth end. I did mine 2 mths back, 3 days before warranty ended and very happy now. Mine was 95%. I replaced it as the X is the 10th anniversary iPhone so to prolong usage until I get my new iPhone next year when I re-contract.

The X is a keeper.
Thanks for the suggestion, it is great to share experience.

Nope, my two phones remain the same as it is originally. However you are encouraged to back up your phone prior to sending in for battery replacement.

Yup, max 2 phones per pax per apple ID.

Did a walk in yesterday, waited about 5hrs after sending in.

My iPhone 7 replaced under Singtel's Mobile Swop early this year, still 100%.

It's not my primary phone and largely only used when I travel and I don't play games nor vid with it, so I'd say it depends on usage pattern too.

Anyway, the battery changed has a 90-day warranty... maybe check with them if you suspect there's a problem with it?

Sharing my experience at A Lab PS.

I initially headed to apple orchard reaching about 1040. Was told there was a 5 hrs wait to send the phone in and was advised to go ALab or QCD. I went to ALab arriving just before the opening at 11am. Queued 30 mins to get a number. You are able to check queue status online. Send in phone at close to 1pm. Received sms to collect at about 1.30pm. Collected at 2pm

I tried send it last day of warranty at QCD Jurong east , tell me crap excuse said no stock n can’t leave my handset over there . Two days after warranty expired , they take in my phone n was charged $38 .. wtf

it's FOC if your phone is under warranty. so why wouldn't you want to do it? you've nothing to lose but everything to gain.

Depends on your charging frequency and habits too.

This is why we always advise to go to Apple Store. At Apple Store, the date you make the request is taken as service date so even if your repair or replacement or whatever comes a month after, it’s still considered as the request was made on that very first day.
