Someone on HWZ hint that eSIM is coming to ST when iPhone 12 is launched. Still hoping it is true
For the past 2 years. Every year nearing iPhone launch sure got people say ST esim coming. IIRC always say dec that year.

Twice already. No sound no music from ST. There is probably a bunch of users like me resenting ST for it. Posted on their FB and this hwz thread.

Kinda becos of this I gave up my keyline yearly upgrade last year, bought ip11pro without contract. Preparing to leave this stupid fat old outdated mindset operator this month.

M1 is short listed for my next telco as its has both esim support for Apple Watch and iPhone. Pricing wise it’s also very competitive.

Sorry, it could be a FB group or HWZ, I really forgot where I read it. ST actually allowed another China telco customers to have eSIM in SG... wth....

Huh? How does that even work? I’m sceptical without seeing the post itself

it is such a disgrace that number 1 and number 2 telcos in lion city do not even support esim even esim has been available since iPad Pro 2018/iPhone Xs until now.

Well to them shareholders more important, but then again, not like they are doing any better.

pretty much all telcos are not doing well.
Singtel Q4 profit falls 25.7% to S$574m.

plus now they need to invest huge amount of money on the 5G infra.

that's why it is a little mind boggling regarding their stance on esim for iphone

People are still switching out from M1, so esim is not something that people really need, see the M1 connectivity complain thread...
