What a joke. First quarter next year?! Singapore is really slow in implementing new technology.
haha yeah... we have been discussing and waiting for this since mar 2017...
now then they start implement ABT Apple Pay.

yes, ezlink is also a possible solution given that most of us that uses the public transport already has one ezlink.

and the various terminals at the cashier can be confusing especially for the newer staff.
just now i was trying to pay for lunch, the staff used the wrong terminal and hence my amex wasn't accepted. i had to told her to use the other terminal that is for amex.
i think NETS Flashpay is expanding to have some of these features. ezlink now mostly used for public transport only.

also they are now consolidating into 1 terminal that can read all NETS/flashpay and credit/debit/paywave/paypass cards. only ezlink cannot be read.

Seem like it. Wonder how long did they sign that exclusive contract. I think Citibank is losing a big pie without Apple users but is our local Citibank management choice, they are not as smart as their USA counterpart. Whatever....

Just went past a store and oh man so many payment machines. Potential "solutions" are not making the situation any better.

If only retail outlets were to fully adhere to Apple or Android Pay that'll be great.
