since u are already in ABT closed door pilot test for samsung pay, so how's the test result so far? and how do they implement the registration of the virtual card number?

Japan's Suica is based on Sony FeliCa standards. SG's ezlink used to be on FeliCa too, but some years back they changed to CEPAS 2.0, so not sure whether it'll be possible.

The diff between JP's Suica and UK's Apple Pay on Tube is that with Suica, there's no need to activate Touch ID/Face ID/double-click watch. Just tap and go, just like using a regular ezlink card.

The UK one needs to activate Touch ID/Face ID/double-click watch first before tapping. Not entirely sure, but I believe if SG eventually implements Apple Pay for transit, it will be like the UK Tube system.

End of this month will be end of the first quarter 2018. Just waiting to see if LTA will stick to their original schedule to allow apple pay to be used on public transport: https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news...nsport-9205028

from the image, does that mean added suica card to apple pay means must bring iphone, the physical card cannot use liao? seems not a good idea.

anyway, i prefer credit card on apple pay instead of ezlink on apple pay.

Ya so Slient from them
Even the push for caahiesss now also remains in flop

Nets pay aslo gg
Gov should have adopt the global standard and not go make its own standard if can make it

Looks at Suica japan it’s phycial card is ok and it’s Virtual card on their keitai so long no issue so when they move to andiod and now iOS is proven stable

SG too slow in adopt it
