And a boost in revenue. Someone here mentioned a point one five percent of the transaction.

Apple Pay making people spend more just to get the thrill of using it. Well done Apple

The last card used is your default card. If want to change, go into the wallet, tap the other card you want to use, pay with that card. That card will be the new default card

didnt know that. how can it be done?

That's why I think analysts underestimate the financial benefits to Apple even though Apple just take 0.15% of purchase price. I do expect an exponential surge in usage. When will it hit $1 trillions a year handle? It may come faster than anyone anticipated with its global following. Who knows Apple may just increase its take from banks and credit card cos, 0.25% is not going to change much.

Apple users are perculiar bunch, poster boys/girls of consumerism.

Today I went entirely Apple Pay:

Lunch at Saizeriya
Clothes shopping at Uniqlo
Bread from 7-11
Grocery shopping at Giant and FP Finest

All transactions are fast, but it's quite addictive. Luckily I charge all purchases to my debit account and not credit, or else sure owe $$

That's what I mean. Paywave has been around for a while but never generates this kind of buzz. Android Pay and Samsung could not have generated this kind of buzz too.

Haha honestly, I will use paywave whenever I can. Before Apple Pay, as Long as the store has a paywave terminal I'll opt for that.

And I don't spend compulsively. All of today's shopping was done because it was needed... So I guess it's still ok. Not using Apple Pay for the sake of using it.

Does Mos burger accept credit cards? Thought only Nets/FlashPay.

My first attempt at Mos Burger ended in a rejected transaction. Then I realized that the FlashPay-enabled EZYLink card, strapped to the back of my phone, was probably interfering with the payment machine.

Tried it again at McDonald's later, this time without the offending card, and payment went through instantly.

I don't know how but I hope they'll allow Apple Pay on public transport. That'll mean one less card to carry.

One way is to go to Settings app, under Wallet & Apple Pay. You can then choose the default card.
