places like fushimi inari ... is it convenient to self drive ? is parking available & at reasonable prices ?
parking is a hassle inside kyoto city... and driving along the narrow congested streets will develop patience that you never thought you had...

Saw raw argentine red big shrimp in their supermarket with the sticker 刺身用. I assume this means sashimi and can be eaten as it is right?

These prefectures are similar.

Depending which month you going, Nov/Dec can be 4:30pm to begin sunset.

Really need to reach Kyoto as early as possible? Can just take local line or rapid line to save some money.

You staying at Shin-Osaka station area?

I'm going 30th-11th April.
Still 4-5pm sky turns dark?

I staying near hommachi/shishinbashi area. Cause I think I've quite a lot to cover in kyoto for 2days + if sky marks early, the more I have lesser time for attractions. So my plan was to take train from kix ard... 6am? Will it b ok? If it's 6am then I don't mind going for cheaper train options.

hey guys! i planned a day to go fuji 5 lakes either 1 to see cherry blossom or mt fuji.

initially i planned to
tky-hakone(drop luggage)-fuji-hakone(hotel)-yokohama.

but i read up the journey up and down sounds very costly and a bit complicated.

do u think i shd:
1. stick to my plan
stay hakone do day trip to fuji lakes
2. direct head to fuji area spend my time there?

i saw got the hakone free pass and hakone-fuji pass, but techically i am spending less than 24 hours there, abit ex hor?

any tots?

Hmm seems like Kyoto turns dark around 6.30pm. Won't be dangerous if taking night train back right? Eg: will the beggers/tikopeh (if any) disturb female?
