Hi,

I'm going to Tokyo in nov with my girlfriend and her birthday happen to fall during our trip so I'm thinking of treating her to a nice restaurant that serves excellent beef.

Any recommendation? Also, any cool place to visit around Tokyo?

Thanks!

depends on ur own tolerance, it can be cool or even cold, even in the cities. i dun think bermuda shorts is good enuf... u will need at least jeans.
for takayama and hakone, u will probably need a jacket.
u can check weather forecast closer to ur travel dates as the weather nowadays quite haywire

If you are a beef lover, then need no introduction what is A4 A5等級的和牛. Here is a review.

Get your English speaking hotel staff to call for reservation first - 03-6915-1638.

Here is the address (Use Google maps) - 東京都杉並区阿佐谷南 3-34-14 小堀ビル

Winter wear.

If your trip include Disneyland, it will be very cold as the venue is near sea.

This thread is too long so I am not sure if it has been answered before. I would like to go to Japan but there is always the worry of communication as I don't speak Japanese and can't read Japanese.

I'm not talking about Tokyo only as I know there are English in Tokyo but maybe places outside Tokyo, like Hokkaido, Kyoto, Mount Fuji. Would there be a problem going to these places when I cannot speak and read Japanese (e.g. bus timing)?

Just to add on. I would prefer taking public transport (either metro or buses) as well as solo travel.
