Any particular reason why stay within the city? Transportation will be an issue? If thatís the case then 15D14N might be too long for a city le.
I have stayed in Tokyo for almost 3 weeks and still not enough.

Hi all, I'm going up to Tokyo during CNY period and have allocated 2 full days for Hakone & Mount Fuji. Any recommendations on what to do and where to stay?

I second that. I had 12 days in Tokyo, 5 days in Sapporo, 3 days in Fuji, 4 days in Osaka and 4 Days in Kyoto. Not enough. Already planning to go back in Autumn next year at least.

Have fun!

How many days for your trip? And where are you heading to? Are you staying just in Tokyo? If yes, don't bother buying a JR Pass.
Im just heading there for 6days. Will be staying in Tokyo only. One of the day heading out to mt Fuji.

Suica or Pasmo is good enough. Itís like an Ezlink card. You can also use it in convenience stores and lockers.
As for Fuji Five Lakes, assuming youíre visiting Kawaguchiko and not 5th Station, you can take an expressway bus from Shinjuku Bus Terminal.

Hakone is an onsen town, where you stay at ryokan. To visit Fuji, you'll have stay ard that area.
