Guys do you know how to go about buying the puratto kodama shinkansen ticket?
You have to get it from JR Tours offices. If I remember correctly, you have to buy at least one day in advance before your actual travel date.

The Shinjuku office is at:
新宿支店(NSビル1階) | お知らせ | For foreigners"PURATTO KODAMA ECONOMY PLAN" | 国内旅行・新幹線のお得なツアーはJR東海ツアーズ

Its obvious that sim is always better. But if your usage pattern is always stationary and city based, wifi can meet most of your needs. It also boils down to your budget. Sim is apparently more expensive than wifi but its strength is clear.

Hi, does anyone know where can I make reservation for Nohi bus? Preferably around Shin-Osaka/ Umeda/ Higashi-Umeda areas.

Why do you want to prebook your bus tickets? Nohi buses are based from Takayama. You can just go the stations where you are taking your buses slightly earlier to get your tickets. I think they are seldom full.

I plan to purchase the Takayama-Hokuriku Area Tourist Pass and note that I have to exchange it when I'm in Japan. How do I use the pass for Nohi bus? Saw on the website that some buses require reservation and some don't.

Yea I did.. So if I'm buying the MCO from JTB, they can help me with the bus reservation? I'm just afraid that I might not get a seat in case the bus is full. I saw mixed reviews about making reservations...
