I tried both local and a Jap address but it doesn't seem to work. I tried logging in to Bandai Namco ID but it tells me I can't log in from the country/region I have registered.

edit: Found a workaround, tried creating another BandaiNamco acct with the country as Japan and it worked. Anyway it's a ballot so trying my luck also.

Thanks anyway!

If you need to travel back to Tokyo after Kobe, its worth the 7 days JR pass, assuming you complete these both legs within 7 days.

One way from Shinagawa to Shin-Kobe via Shinkansen Hikari is 14,480yen.

So both ways is 28960yen

One 7 days pass is 29110yen. The small 150yen diff is easily recovered by your local travel using JR.

JR pass covers Shinkansen, just that it won't cover the faster Nozomi & Mizuho.

Guess I will get the JR Pass then. I will need to b back in Tokyo on Sat for an appointment.

So I got 3 days of JR Pass usage left?

Any plc I can go can cover in 1 Day from Shinagawa?

Or any1 want to buy 4 days of JR Pass? From 15 to 18th Nov.

There's only 7, 14 or 21 days pass, 3 types with variation of class.
Japan Rail Pass (JR Pass)

The left over can be used for NEX back to Narita, if you are flying back via Narita. Or go some nearby cities for day trip.

BTW, JR pass cannot be bought in JP, tomorrow you should call HIS for ticket availability and buy it ASAP.
JAPAN RAIL PASS (JR PASS) hisgo.com.sg

There are other agents in Sg that sells JR pass too, but off hand i can only remember this one.

Which one is more important? do some sightseeing or take the max worth of your JR pass? If its the former, then you don't have to go far to see JP, within Tokyo there are lots of things to see and do.Just visit the sites within reach of JR's Yamanote line will do.

You are also lucky that Tokyo is about to peak in Koyo

japan 'ezlink' card

Hi
which card should i get. i going tokyo for 3 days and go osaka (by shinkansen)
follow by kyoto

Suica, Pasmo or icoca

read from the web..but dont quite understand- is it mean that in tokyo i have to use
suica or pasmo and in Osaka and Kyoto i need to use ICOCA?

quote
SUICA, PASMO and ICOCA are 3 prepaid cards to use easily any subway or rail line in Tokyo area (Suica e Pasmo) and Osaka/Kyoto area (Icoca) without having to buy each time the ticket. It is much more comfortable than it looks, especially if you use lines of different companies and then you should buy more than one ticket. unquuote

3 are compatible already. Just one card eg SUICA will do.
Prepaid IC Cards in Japan

Do you fly back from Tokyo? If you fly into Tokyo then visit Osaka/Kyoto then fly back via Tokyo, you should get the JR pass. Assuming your are rounding up your travel in 7 days.

Looking to cover Takayama, Ogimachi & Kanawaza in 3D2N. How should I plan my route and where should I stay if I only want to stay at one place?

Or should I remove either Takayama or Kanawaza?

I can depart from either Kyoto or Tokyo.
