Yes, have done it many times. Let the concierge at Shinjuku know the check-in date at the hotel in Aomori, the staff will indicate it on the form.
Which counter? Is that in JR Station?

Hi, I would like to ask if Tsukiji Fish Market is still around? If not, please recommend some nice places for us worth visiting.

Outer Market is still around. Fish and vegetables section moved to Toyosu. Try to read up more from JNTO or Japan Guide.

Nobody knows which places are nice to you. Everyone has his own definition on “nice places”.

Karuizawa? Gala is quite convenient too if you’ve got the pass. Tokyo Wide Pass is cheaper compared to a 7D Pass if you’re just staying within Tokyo for the whole trip.

If you have your own water resistant winter clothing then just wear that, no need to specially rent ski clothes.

Even if your winter clothing not water resistant also OK actually.

What kind of flowers are you looking at? Snow? To play in the snow or just see snow?
