Just to check.

If i wish to go from Tokyo > Kanazawa > Toyama > Nagano(Side trips to Yudanaka Station and Karuizawa) > Tokyo.

The only pass that covers all above is JR Hokuriku Arch Pass right?

My wife and I use decathlon base layers, ski jacket, pants, gloves, socks. Used our sets for last 3 ski trips/years liao & still going strong.

We also use their cheap small backpacks for skiing and hiking, also very good for the price.

We also use their waterproof hiking shoes for snow, these not so perfect cos not very comfortable and the default laces are slippery and come undone literally every few hours.

Day 1: 9am reach Kansai Airport. Take train to Hiro + boat to miyajima. Stay in Miyajima
Day 2: From Miyajima to Kyoto

Day 7: Kyoto to Osaka.
Day 8 : Day trip to Nara from Osaka.
Day 9: Dinner go Kobe from Osaka

from my itinerary above, should i get JR Kansai pass? If not, what pass should I get or should I purchase all my transport individually?

Calculate if the kansai-hiroshima pass worth it. Though i rather d1 you relax in osaka first, d2 then go to miyajima.

Different kinds of transportation, yes interesting. Fun? Hmm, I would find not really. Very crowded, rude and inconsiderate tourists (saw one scolding staff loudly for no reasons) and sudden attacks of the swinging selfie sticks along the snow walls. I went a few days just after its opening few years back. Start early, so that you’ll have enough time to reach your next lodging destination at night.

Anyone has any advise for the following? I have tried to google but not much info can be found. Will like to know which bus stop and which bus number to take? Any website to view the bus schedule as well?

Thanks in advance.

1) Shizuoka Station to Nihondaira (Take a Shizuoka Nihondaira Line bus for 35 min and get off at ”Nihondaira” which is the final bus stop)

2) Kunozan Toshogu Shrine (Kunozan-shita bus stop) to Miho no Matsubara (Sekaiissan Miho-no-Matsubara Kaminomichi Iriguchi bus stop) -

3)Miho no Matsubara (Sekaiissan Miho-no-Matsubara Kaminomichi Iriguchi bus stop) to JR Shimizu Station
