I am planning the same route. I think this is the fastest way unless you stay near shinjuku.

I went to website but no ticket sale for the date I want to go.

Maybe still early. Normally they start selling 1 month before.

Tickets can just buy on the day itself or before..

Any idea if the bus ticket you bought was Odakyu Hakone Highway Bus or JR Bus? As from their website it seems there are 2 choices. But looking at it, cant really tell whats the difference apart from one having more time slots. zzz

by right slightly less than 2 hours

but got jam here and there, end up app 3 hours

imo worth it, i will go again
maybe stay over 1-2 nights at mt fuji

spend app 40k yen there

is there a JR bus, that can be used with JR Pass, that can go straight to Gotemba?

The last time i go via train and bus jialat sia hahaha. But worth it, best premium outlet I've been
