Sometimes, it doesn't snow when it gets too cold.

We were lucky that during my 8 days in Seoul in the 3rd week of Nov, we managed to encounter snowfall for 3 days.

My friend went there the week after me for 9 days and he didn't see any snow.

just got back Sat, seems most places are quite fair price wise, tourist area and non tourist areas maybe different by 2-3000KW for same items, the convenience store also priced fairly and don't rip off people, restaurants and eateries also the price you see is what you pay...quite good experience, people are generally nice and polite but keep a distance, unlike Taiwanese who are really warm and go all out to please..change money wise it seems only myeongdong got 802, most other places 780-795..cold inner wear can get from small shops at MRT stations, half cheaper than uniqlo but works just as well..what I didn't like was while it was super cold outside, the malls and shops and restaurants all seem to be super hot till must take out everything, so make sure the most inner is presentable when take off outer layers...

If u r planning to stay outdoor whole day then you better be snow/cold weather ready. Else adequate protection is enough. Remember to be “waterproof” and on high alert for slip n fall hazard.

"Frostbite" doesn't mean what you think it means btw.

Been in Seoul for last 5 days, missed the cold snap + snow. Yesterday rained the whole day (temperatures around 2-3deg above zero).

Currently in jeju island, temp around 3-7deg, wind is so strong till we got problem walking.

Was in seoul for the pass 6 days, sat is very sunny n abit high on temp, but i was in YP skiing. So still very cold there,

And sun was raining, become quite cold, yesterday was the killer, whole day below 0 deg, was in gyeongbokung palace, after taking breakfast in tosokchon, then head to lotte mart to spend money, and to MD for street food, evening time i went to noryangjin market to eat seafood, otw walking to the market over the bridge, the cold is ultimate, the temp was abt -7 deg, wind is very strong, i cant even feel my nose n ear,

Seoul will be colder n colder starting from now on,

But too.bad nv get to see snow, jinz sian.
