Read the fare rules attached to the eticket. There should be a fare code on it.

If u choose cheapest pricing then high chance it is non-refundable. If you choose highest pricing for the same class then most prob is a flexi ticket. There are T&C with the tickets whether you buy it direct with airline or agents.

If you have travel insurance then u pray for war breakout to claim under travel cancellation and you get back in full.

Heads up: plan enough time for your transfers/transits because current weather is foggy

Landed on 23 Dec 10am but had to sit inside plane for 100mins then the plane moved to parking Bay before all of us exited from plane

able to select seat for Asiana upon booking?

My wife and I took Asiana 2 years ago and we booked a two-seater row during online flight booking 6 months ahead of departure. From what i saw online, there were only 6 sets of 2-seater right at the back and the rest are 3-seater rows. On the day of flight, the counter staff said that our seats had been "re-assigned". Apparently they changed the plane a few months ago but did not inform us even though my email was given to them at the time of booking.

As for Korean Air, you are unable to make advance seat reservation at the time of booking and payment. I guess after payment and a reservation number is given, you can go back online to select seats. But the risk is that you and your friend or family members may not be able to sit together if it is heavily booked.

Ya, there is transit. But still ok for me.

For the $$ i pay i think is quite worth it if compare with budget airlines and also SQ.

I mange to booked for May 28th red eye flight and the next day is a public holiday.

Yup, the price is 40% lesser than full fledged airline ...
hence some who dont mind the 1+ hrs and 3hrs transit would still take this choice ...
