seriously i dun think their food is nice.. but well.. I went there 3 times and only managed to eat the 3rd time..

Somemore alot of stuff on the menu were no longer no sale..

hmm.. but the time.. I suppose u can go try ur luck at ard 630pm they will start at ard that time..
ken's ramen taste like normal maggie mee imo.... after i ate their ramen.. i tot to myself 'so real japanese ramen taste like that?' after then on my perception of ramen dropped tremedously' i guess only only the jangara ramen can arouse the ramen interest in me... maybe i wasnt into the shoyu and shio ramen stock.. i prefer the tonkotsu stock and stock that need hours of stewing..hehe

The Asahikawa ramen has arrived!! Tried and tasted. This place has got the closest taste compared to the one I ate in Sapporo branch.
Try Miso ramen. & add char siew .. The char siew is heavenly. Its so soft that its breaks apart when u hold it up with ur chopstick. only a bit short of the "melt in your mouth" standard i had tasted in 1 of the tokyo shop.
price around $10 to $15 per bowl.

I tried at this outlet today.. i had the miso ramen while my wife had shoyu ramen.

Yes.. the char siew is good, but some of the leaner part of the meat were a little dry. My wife and I both like the texture of the noodle but we both felt the soup should be piping hot when served. My miso soup was a little oily..

You can see some of the pics I took in my blog.

Tried the miso and shoyu ramen today and find the char siew too salty and soup not hot when served. This probably my first and last time there..

tried marutama today... marutama ramen soup is ok not bad.. char siew not bad , kakuni topping not bad.. noodles not bad al dente.. and not the maggie mee version which ken noodle house uses.. had a taste of aka ramen.. spicy and abit thick... taste quite good.. but the noodles taste i dun quite like.. taste of coriander i tink..
and the oil floating on the top of the soup is good too.. makes the soup hot and and noodles slurpy ...

side note.. back to ban mien for now... lol.. or crystal jade pork rib la mien...

Tried it today and the soup was served hot. Soup was ok (tried shio, shoyu and miso) though char siew was a little dry where lean. Overall decent but there are better ones around.
