Thanks for sharing. I'm going there for specific items, so i do know wat i'll be in for :D

Errr, i dun think we took pics cos all busy chatting n eating :s13: but i can safely say tat most of us liked the buffet n would have planned another outing if not for the 29 Mar deadline of the voucher. I like their roasted beef (very very slow refill though), soups (both spicy n the meat ball soups), squid with veg filling (though the later sambal squid is overcooked), otak =:p n this coconut kueh dessert which a si ginna whacked 4 pieces ... sigh, young boi can burn off all tat calories :o

PS. Digged this out ... took by Striker to torture me while i rushing to get there :p

I actually like the place for their light marinate :s13:

Really a case of one man's meat is another man's poison...hahah

Yah, I also like KBB for their lighter marinate :s13:

Old man cannot eat too much sweet stuff :o

Likely. I only put kimchi below the meat, then let the meat cook over kimchi.
This will be more appropriate.
Then get some garlic, 金针菇, and BBQ along the way.

Their tp branch has a slightly wider range of meats n even steamboat, but their steamboat is pathetic.

Hmmm, grilling the meat on top kimchi? I din try cooking the meats this way b4. Gonna try.

We just to SSK Chinatown on Thu. Not bad wor. Only the beef ribs too sweet. Rest of the meats quite nicely marinated. Glass noodles although tasty, is a bit too dry, so not smooth enough n the texture also lose out to the one at KBB Clementi. Too much msg too. Now they provide 1 foc stick of korean melon ice cream too. Nice. Taste like meiji's melon milk :D

Haven't been back to SSK Chinatown for a long while liao...hahah

If I am in the area, I rather go to Histori - I am a fan of their milk pudding :o

Might be trying next Thu. I remember their beef cuts for dinner not very good. Improved? I like their lunch though.

Anyone been to Town Restaurant @ Fullerton Hotel? Is the spread good?

Pretty decent - good mix of international (sashimi counter) and local food (they have a roast meat counter)...

But would I pay for my own meal there? Maybe not :s13:
