Yea, same experience. Some durians not nice, smell a bit sourish, then again, just discard n get another plate

Oscars quite nice in allowing you to use multiple amex cards. Some places will really seat you in separate tables n not even side by side tables ...

Spread wise a bit lousy, but local themes normally like tat. The oysters are great on the day i went though. Sibuay plump! Definitely the best oysters i ate for the past few years.

Hi , can anyone advise me which buffet is more worthwhile if I am 'targeting' at seafood -

If you have better recommendations, do let me know as well. Thanks in advance.

From your list. Seems like Hotel Jen.

The rest really mediocre. Maybe Oscar can consider.

Thanks for the replies for 10 at Claymore!!!
I was really looking forward to try the wagyu, as I am beef person and the missus is seafood person. Thought this buffet would be the best of both worlds.
Might have to rethink. And it is hugely popularkends are fully booked till october.
sharing on closest it can get... tomahawk beef, but no wagyu, still tender and juicy by Azur, add link to share https://www.crowneplazadining.com/in...teak-promotion

had their buffet and added that tomahawk... good thing was we joined their dining member (refer to my prev post if keen to know), it came around to only about 50 bucks for that tomahawk that serves very well for 5 person... well of cuz, plus their buffet thou

Back from dinner at 10@Claymore. The layout here reminds me of The Dining Room at Sheraton. Cold lobsters were tasteless. Go for the crabs and sashimi (tuna and salmon). The tomahawk beef was disappointing considering that it was a 'beef and reef' promo. Limited cooked food choices which were barely passable. There was a diy prawn noodle and Laksa station. Only worth going if you are an oyster lover. Three varieties of freshly shucked oysters available tonight. For desserts, skip the cakes and go straight for the crepes (damn good with nutella and peanut butter).

Their Boston lobsters seem to the norm, usually tasteless from the few times I was there. If you want nice lobster, should try Marriott Cafe, the lobster always sweet and fresh plus they not stingy and kept on replenishing it.

Weekday lunch a bit difficult as most k bbq buffet serve a very basic spread for weekday lunches.

If dinner or weekend lunch, then you can go SSK, Daessiksin or I'm Kim. They will have beef short ribs.

For weekday lunch, you can try Han Geun Doo Geun kbbq @ chinatown point. I think they might have beef short rib as their buffet is those ala carte buffet where you order off a menu. So its a full spread even for weekday lunch. Close to $30 though, but it is sometime back since i went, so pls call to verify.

Another place you can try is Goki Day @ Serangoon. I went there for lunch once n they brought out the beef short ribs just as we are leaving
