Go try the more premium-ish items like yellow tail and swordfish sashimi. I like the swordfish. Also whack the unagi sushi. I think got a few Bros here like me whack the unagi exclusively.

Visited Rise at MBS ($53nett with Citibank promo for lunch), for that price really good leh, food was good, variety also good, the roasted ham and striploin JHJ. Didn't take any pics though.

Anyway moi unker age now really bohua sia. Only took one plate each of starter main course dessert then freaking stuffed liao.

Lol I just went king louis last week after you intro. So fast no more buffet already?
Food was okok la. They put alot of fries n potatoes to make you full though.

Food was okok la. They put alot of fries n potatoes to make you full though.
No more? I just went on Wednesday. Still have.

Food I don't really like though. Either over-seasoned(do not try their sasauges) or under-seasoned(fish and chips was tasteless). Pasta was decent but their portion for buffet is ridiculously large. Like pastamania-sized pastas.

You dun have to eat the vegs. They will not insist you finish it, but they also will not leave them out, so i will jsut peck peck a few pieces coz its really a waste. Hmmm, maybe tats their strategy

Any try the cavery at park hotel?? Hw does it compare to the square at furama??

Fish n chips Dory. No fishy taste though just really bland. Didn't try chicken. Pork loin and roast beef was bad as both were very dry. Ribs ok-ish but I find not enough sauce. Didn't try the duck.

Also tried the banana bacon(no idea why I tortured myself), some treasure pot(basically mussels cooked in wine with a few pieces of garlic bread) which was actually good, mushroom soup which was ok and cesear salad which tasted horrible and the first item which was ridiculously over-sized. Like 4 people's portion size....

Seriously out of all the mains I tried, only their pasta is good. But why would I eat so much carbo at a buffet? Morever with those ridiculously large portions.

Carvery is a bit over-rated

Spread is quite small and those roast items are not fantastic

Diff between lunch n dinner is basically dinner has 0.5 grilled lobster (so so nia), oyster bar n live drunken prawn stn (nice!).

Too bad they raised the price by around $5 n reduced the spread slightly. They used to have good crayfish, but the last 2 visits, the quality n size of the crayfish is no longer as good. To be fair, its still pretty decent for the price. Durian paste also not bad plus they usually have lamb chops too, which is the main reason i go.

Went back again on 23 Dec

Still paid less than S$30 per pax and they included turkey, baked ham and log cakes in the spread

Finally found the crayfish again but yup, shrunk in size

Next visit should be for their Sunday brunch, which has oysters and free flow Moscato for S$60++ (think will be S$35 nett per pax with the SCB card)
