I havent tried their lunch nor high tea. But my friends who went for lunch said that there was no lobster during lunch. But usually lunch's menu has lesser variety than dinner's one in general. That explain why most places charge more for dinner. Is Carousel lunch or high tea better? Can’t rem all these well already.
Just went to Carousel Buffet on mother day.
Not bad, at least they serve lobster, oyster etc...
though the snow crab leg is salty ttm lol... it's like they soaked it in salt water for many days haha
but the variety is quite comprehensive... they have 15% discount for a few credit card. still can go.
Went Rise@MBS in april. i like the quality of the cooked food, but the oyster is small and thin, eat like never eat...
but i like the dessert selection there... got kueys and cakes, tarts, chendol etc..
think i miss buffet a lot since covid hit us hahha...
Thank you for photos Cafe Mosaic seems goodJust went Cafe Mosaic lunch yesterday
Pretty decent and hope the quality holds up (based on past experience, their standard fluctuates more than the HK stock market)
But be warned - their standard is not consistentThank you for photos Cafe Mosaic seems good

If I remember correctly, last time they had lobsters and a lot more stuff
Now it's more expensive with less variety (same story for many buffets these days)!
Hard to choose sia lol..Which is better? Carousel or Rise?
Quite fresh but on the smallish sideHow are their oysters though?
I avoid Kiseki for a while liao - think their standard even worse than Buffet TownKiseki now got their new self served menu. Dunno if it is good
Rise winnerHard to choose sia lol..
Dessert wise, i like rise.
Oyster, i like carousel
Seafood i like rise
Cook food option, both quite even
Just try both lor lol!
Rise winner
they are different in price which equates to different food choices servedbuffet noob here, does it matter if one goes for dinner or lunch? I see there's no distinction between weekdays/weekends/lunch/dinner like other restaurants; however just one in RISE's menu that states only one carving for lunch / 2 carvings for dinner.

Cos dinner can loiter longer.Think there's a difference between lunch and dinner.
Usually dinner has more varieties. And since lunch are generally cheaper than dinner in most hotel buffets, it has got to be a reason heh
