Went The Garden Kitchen for dinner after reading Super good review by Daniel Food Diary https://danielfooddiary.com/2020/07/...gardenkitchen/ . Highly disappointed with the quality and selection of food I must say. Daniel the influencer mentioned that the restaurant is famous for their crab but when we went there for the buffet, the crab barely got any meat. The restaurant was pretty empty at the time we visited, only saw 3-4 tables of diners included 2 tables occupied by my family. Dropped them a message on their Facebook page about the poor quality of food but was ignored.

Very disappointed and made me wonder if we can even trust what Danielfooddiary recommends since that bad dining experience. Now I have doubts on his recommendation. I hope influencers especially those who blogs about food can give more genuine and accurate reviews so we do not waste time and money going to lousy restaurants like The Garden Kitchen.

Please do not ever go to The Garden Kitchen for their buffet. My entire family said food was not good at all.
Yup, I originally also wanted to bring my parents there for dinner but changed the venue after reading the reviews on Google

Kinda glad we did else will kena tricked by all these food blogger wayang reviews

If you look at the bottom, its revealed that its a paid review, except written in nicer words like "in partnership". Once its paid, just reduce the standards by 50% lah.

We did - as part of a walking tour that we bought on Klook

However, ours was not the A4 wagyu beef and lobster menu so can't comment on that

But still, the normal spread was fairly decent and we enjoyed ourselves (other than the long walk back to the MRT station)

Seafood platter to start us off

Cooked lobster is only one order per customer

Grilled mentaiko scallops and grilled beef - very decent

Meat platter of beef, pork and lamb

Cooked BBQ ribs - not bad

Grilled beef ribeye

This beef rib with bone is nice, although overly sweet

"Fresh" oysters - not too bad as well

It looks pretty good. But is it worth for that price?

Would you believe if I said we paid S$5 each for a weekend dinner?

https://www.klook.com/en-SG/activity...6-e9ec6ce9cf8d

Cos you can use the STB vouchers to offset the price

Anyway, go over to their FB page bah - I heard they have a new meat menu that's cheaper

Service is not too bad - staff a bit blur but once the food starts coming, it's quite fast (90 minutes is enough to makan until peng)

Wow sounds good. Didn’t know that the STB vouchers could be used for this.
