is it better to set on 2nd or 3rd april? if set on 2nd, 3rd u can go sunday brunch again. good hor?

if we shd on 2nd, when do we need to look out to make reservation?

for me doesn't matter whether 2nd or 3rd... but my preference would be sat usually...

Actually there will not be a conflict if you look at it from another angle.

No minimum spending to get the voucher, but to use the voucher, you need to spend at least S$100.

Twtan and samba both took 3 vouchers each. I still have 8 with me. Just let us know if anyone wants any.




Heres the voucher. Must pay together with UOB cc and cannot use together with any cc or other promos or on public holis etc, the usual voucher tnc.

Basically, the only cc promo is the UOB 4 pay 3 one :-

If 1 pax, then you're out of luck. No promo for you.

If 2 paxes or 3 paxes, bad new is the UOB promo not applicable, so have to use the $28 voucher. Good new is if only 2 paxes, then the $28 is actually better, even for 3 paxes, using the $28 voucher means paying around $2 more per pax only.

If 4 and 5, then the UOB promo confirm better cos you pay 1 less pax, which is basically $45/48++.

If 6 and above, then split your bill and use a combi of UOB promo and voucher.

Nuggets I use toaster oven to toast. Quite alright. Wedges too dry to toast. Hashbrown still ok. Not bad. I don't deep fry. One toast oven rules all.
same for me. most times use oven, i try to avoid deep frying. nuggets, hashbrowns.. they all taste ok using oven. wedges no try before, i also don't know that they have to be deep fried..

tmr gonna cook dinner for family...

Those cheap brands. So far ok. One thing I like about my toaster is that I can vary the temperature from 80 to 240 degrees. So can prevent burning out or too dry. Hashbrown got the same one Macs uses. Toast less oily and salty.
Macs = mcd? what brand they use? i usually get farmland..

got 2 types of fresh oysters... foie gras... peking duck...

Macs = mcd? what brand they use? i usually get farmland..
trying later at night.

macs use their own brand. hear from people their nuggets got chicken feathers bones etc all blend together... hahaha not sure how true is that

Yes, dinner is 45++ per pax. 2 paxes will be slightly above $100. Sure, pm me your addy? Unless you wanna pick it up from Queenstown mrt in the evenings after 7pm.

No idea abt the splitting of bills, but there is really no way they can stop you cos you can always book 2 tables. It doesn't really make sense for them to have to force diners to do that cos its a lose lose for everyone. You will prolly need 2 UOB cards for that to work though.

thought u say black pig doesnt taste diff from nude pig.

btw, do u find that they ... seasoned the snowcrabs? coz at our session at kushibo, we ( first by twtan friend ) discover the crabs boiled or seasoned in vinegar or sugar water.. cant remember,
Yea, the black pig shabu shabu tasted good, but the slices were literally paper thin. So i am not sure if the lack of porkiness smell was due to their using black pig or cos the slices were so thin. They actually have a counter with ingredients like prawns, various balls, mushrooms, vegs and even pork for the shabu shabu. I should have taken some of the 'normal' pork to compare. Also, some of the slices were quite fat though.

Yes, they also used salt water to wash the snow crabs. However, its not as salty as the ones at global kitchen though, for me still okay. But the crabs really juicy, and it was really a messy to try it without the sicssors contraption (which they ran out) to cut open the shell. The juices just splatter all over the place.

The food is of a higher quality than compared to kiseki or momiji, though less variety.
