Yup, long jing is the least processed - that's why the leaves are still in "blade" form...

Tie Kuan Yin is very lightly processed - the leaves are usually in greenish "balls"

Pu Erh is the most processed - become black colour...hahah
Last time i went China bought the Long Jing. Tasted so nice there, but come back is different. In any case heard from my colleague that for Chinese tea, there is an art in making and drinking and most tea cannot boil too long and must be boiled at a certain temperature. She also mentioned that Pu Erh is the best and in some case if you get good quality, the most expensive chinese tea.

I can take hot stuff (I think) - bring it on...hahah

Hopefully my years of training with my grandma's belachan (made with chili padis) has built up my resistance and tolerance
I also can take hot stuff but maybe not up to your standard.

Haha, it hadn't happen. Or maybe pple didn't tell me. Maybe I take a mirror tomorrow and look at myself. If I cannot take the hotness, I will be grabbing tissue. So many dua zeh going tomorrow, I think I will nose bleed first.
BigMonkey, why you scared of dua zeh that you nose bleed.

dua zeh = big sis
i want to gooooooo! hope she feel well enough to work
Who is sick?

On the contrary, Pu Erh isn't "processed" unless you are talking about the human cultivated kind. Really good pu erh is left to age naturally thats why it turns from green to blackish and also the reason why it is so expensive. 1 bing of wild 12 yr old pu erh costs about SGD$200 and 1 zhuang of wild 100 yr old pu erh can set u back in the region of tens of thousands

I am not in your league...hahah

I can only afford to buy the cheap pu er

But I think the crazy prices of pu er were due to mad speculation and have since tumbled sharply?

I did see a bing going for S$30k or something at a shop in China - I might as well drink gold

Yea the crazy prices were due to the speculation but the bubble burst around 2007. Prices have gone up quite a bit since then, especially the genuine wild aged ones. I saw this 200+ yr old pu erh going for the price of a BMW

My advise to those going for this buffet is not to have high expectation, in fact I would say, go at your own risk. Sashimi is super slow to top up, desserts also hardly replenished to the fact that mid point in meal they almost ran out of the good stuffs.
