For me, the beef horfun n claypot fish ranks as the lousier dishes for the nite. The fish pieces were really too bony n too little meat liao, making it a pain to eat. They should use meaty cuts. Adding a bit of salted fish will also enhance the fragance imo.

Dun really care for the longan, fungus n jackfruit dessert too. Like the jackfruit, but the dessert really tasted like those canned syrup.

The qiankun or jinqian bag also tad salty.

Loved the lamb, liked the pork soft bones, chicken n toufu.

French Toast - Courtesy of Wackykid. Sinfully nice. This is very different from the other French Toasts I have eaten. In the center it's has some peanut butter and together with the butter on the outside it make this a savoury and sweet meal to satisfy.

Arrow Root with Spare Ribs Soup - Pork ribs are tender and the soft bones can be eaten too. The sweetness imparted from the veggies and pork make this a flavourful soup.




Salmon Roll - A new way of eating salmon beside eating it fresh, pan fried or baked.

Crispy Roasted Chicken with liver dip sauce - The skin is not as crispy as I would like it to be but at least the meat is still tender. The accompanying sauces are a tad too salty.




Stir-Fried Diced Vegetable with Mango & Mushroom - Not many "rabbits" tonight but this colourful dish goes well with me.




Stewed Lamb Brisket in Claypot - This is the best dish of the night. Lamb is tender while the sauce favourful. Best eaten with a bowl of rice. Cost $22 per claypot which is quite reasonable and so if I will to come back, I will definitely order this one with rice.

Beef Hor Fun - By this dish, I am already quite full, so only took a little to try out. Not bad but the rest of us don't quite little it. I think BigMonkey ate the most cause he is hungry.




Fried Rice with Chinese Sausage - This is also not one of the dishes tonight. Was ordered as some are still not full. I have no impression of this as I only took a few grains of rice.



Longan and Black Fungus Dessert - Although not mentioned in the dish's name, I think the Jackfruit is more pronounce in this dessert then the other two ingredients.






Thanks Dennyz for helping to reserve the seats for us and also to the organiser for this makan session at ieat. Finally nice meeting all of you, though I can't remembered most of your names already.
