cham leh, u realli senile liao, the spread tat big monkey went is very similar to the one u & samba went.
I went on weekend lunch spread oso abt 80% similar & got yr fav fried salmon head.

Yea, they have 6 varieties of salt for diners to try. We poured all of them into plates to try. So funnie, when we took the plates back to the table, there was a waitress there, and she promptly cleared PPP's 'salt' plate cos she tot its empty
hey tis incident ish very farnie. when P_P_P was back, I was very puzzled y he dunno wat to eat nvm, steel brought back a dirty, empty plate den I was even more puzzled y u look so surprised at the waitress & started bursting into laughter

best value ish always 1 for 1

it ish always the smaller the base, the greater the impact of the discount.
3 for 2 = less 33%
4 for 3 = less 25%

Sashimi, snow crab legs and duck meat.

Teppanyaki prawn, moi prefer salt grilled.

Chicken cut to smaller pieces.

First try at hotplate beef no good, cos i put it too long to let it cook.

2nd plate of food,

Jumbo Ebi Fried, chicken stik, siew mai, water leg.

2nd try at hotplate beef, did it shabu style. So it taste better than first try, had 5 more serving.

Momiji not bad. Ratings: 7/10.
Been eating there almost once every month for Lunch.
As for Dinner (expensive pricing as one could get better buffet else-where), almost the same except for the Crab Legs which is not so sweet & nice.

My fav:
1) RAW Salmon & fresh prawns
2) The Baked sections on seafood shells are tasty & juicy
3) The Hot Soup - Seafood Soup NICE...rather Vegetable Soup VERY NICE (No thirsty feel after drinking 2 servings)
4) BBQ chicken on stick and their Fried Tempura is heavenly
5) Deserts is so-so, like their Drinks section for the Soja drink & coffee
6) Hotplate chicken is alright, the paste is nice.
7) Most important is their Service staff is prompt - rating 6.5/10
8) Price is value for money with passion card.

Hate:
1) Don't like the fried section, oily
2) For their tepanyanki is below average, don't have the feel.
3) A bit ugly to see their dirty plates collection bin in the Centre of Dining hall = disgusting
4) Watermelon drink can be better= horrible
5) Cooked food section - fried rice, fried crabs, fried vegetables, etc = fail.
6) Sushi section got nothing outstanding, cold and life-less. very disappointing.

Gosh, Momiji is moving to City Sq. No wonder they ask feedback earlier this QTR on City Sq. Guess it's nearer to MRT. Hope price remains the same.
