A lousy lunch today, it like I was attending some seminar and they prepared for us some finger foods.

View of the CTE from our window area table.

Chef slicing the Chicken Shawarma. When we tried to slice some ourselves, chef told us off that the chicken meat was not cooked yet. By the time he started slicing, it's was already too dry and chow tar liao.

Laksa is not too bad though and you have to DIY yourself.

Moi dessert creation and it attracted looks from some diners.

With lousy foods around, I ended taking pictures of the deco.

Even at 1 for 1, it still cost $28 per diner and I thought Starz was bad, this place is worst. Verdict, avoid this place at all cost, especially the lunch.

I also noticed that a lot of Chinese nationals are eating there, first time I see that many in a buffet.

Looks terrible - almost nothing I would or could eat haha

And no offense but when restaurants cater to a lot to PRC tourists, the quality is less important than quantity

fried prawns with wasabi salad cream... the wasabi is light... for non-wasabi eaters like me also find it okay to eat...

one of my fav dish there... stir-fried prawns and sea whelk in XO sauce... both the prawns and scallops are large, fresh, springy and juicy... (actually i think this should scallops instead of sea whelk... the sea whelk ended up with the previous coral clam dish... )

wok-fried spare ribs with special sauce...

deep-fried chicken winglet with prawn paste... pretty good...

poached local spinach with salted and century eggs... this type of dish getting too common everywhere... not bad but not special le.. my colleagues liked it...

stir-fried fillet of snapper with spring onion and ginger... average dish...

regards,
wacky
