Nope. Find it a waste to go there n dun eat the desserts. Will rather go Paulaner or Shiu Yakiniku to whack the PKs or pork bellies ...
Toons,

Your Shiu got promo coupon (hopefully it's the one you mention)

Eh bro, can trouble you to check through the menu?

Just realised that it's a "special promo" menu for deal.com.sg customers...looks pretty limited as compared to their usual menu...

http://www.deal.com.sg/sites/default...t%20Menu_0.pdf

Since you have been there, you should be the best judge

Edit:

Think we have been screwed again by deal.com.sg (after Indian Times)...

Their usual lunch is S$29.80/pax and dinner is S$33.80/pax with 14 yakiniku items - S$23.3 nett is with 8 items!

Missing yakiniku items include lamb leg, prawn, squid, sausage (beef)...

Also had several cooked items replaced with cheaper alternatives like french fries (is that even Japanese?!)...

I also say

Never ever going to buy from deal.com.sg again!

Only alternative is to check with Shiu whether we can top up the difference for the normal buffet...

Else jin emo (to borrow a phrase)

i still recommend todai, lots of selection, can book room somemore, can have pte party, no need to sit outside
Its so odd. Todai is a crappy place in the States (nearly fast food decor) but they jazz it up in Singapore. Haven't been there yet, but heard some people comment that it was good.

Errrr, I am actually aware of the difference in the menu when I bought the voucher. Discussed with donkey n we are okay as long as the BBQ got beef n pork belly. The cooked items are crap, so dun care wat they replace with. Not a fan of seafood too, so dun care abt prawn n squid. Only thing is the lamb

Ended up deciding to just go for the $23.30 nett voucher rather than the $35 nett normal promo.

If like the food n place, can always return for the normal promo. Paiseh abt not informing you of the difference earlier. If you want the normal deal, i call n see if can top up or i take over your voucher if cannot. Sorry.
