did you enquire clearly with your collegue about the food? it's been a few weeks since the lackluster review from 8Days and i guess there should be some improvement, but any notable items from Todai?

the raw oysters fresh or not?

Give me a little while, I go interview her now. Cause this morning she just told me the food nice only and whether the place is crowded, she said yes.

Take this with a pinch of salt, she not feeling well so didn’t ate much stuffs. I asked her why she still go, because someone treat her, so it’s free. These are the dishes she said are nice:

Alaskan crab legs, sashimi, oysters (this she said very nice), desserts (some only)

She didn’t eat the grilled dishes though.

so we opened a private room at one degree 15 imperial treasure..
we had exclusive customised menu since we knew the manager..
so we ran the bill up to 4k without liquor

think i'll go have a look at the buffet in the next couple of weeks before i decide if it's worth having a try... am planning to visit MBS with my friend soon since i haven't been there before

at least justify eating enough oysters to balance out the $60+ price tag? can only do so after i've fully recovered

haven't found any "real" reviews after a bit of googling.... guess it's still too new

$4k for just 11 of u...?? that is almost $400 per pax...!

i've heard of more $$$ ones... that is during CNY though...
