Wow, the reviews at hungrygowhere seem good. Saw it on TV previously but didn't think it was good.

http://www.hungrygowhere.com/singapore/7107_flavours/
I went for dinner (ala carte) there before - the food is not bad

Then I saw the pictures from the buffet outing in the old thread - that got me salivating

I don't remembered there was a outing for 7107 Flavours as yet.

Price: $48++, with $28 voucher, $40 nett

There is a UOB and Citibank, 1 dine free for every 3 paying. Do they still accept discount voucher if that's the case? Thanks

Hmmm, you prefer place with nice food, dun care abt the ambience or ambience more impt?

You can consider kushi for the following reasons :-

1. Small and cozy place
2. Ala carte so you can just sit, chat, stare into each others' eyes and wait to be served
3. Not crowded, so dun have to jostle with others
4. Nice jap food

The bad thing is the decor of the place is rather pedestrian. Not classy.

If you want something with nicer ambience, Starz at RWS might be a good choice too. Food is decent (only been there once for lunch though), place is classy n you can get these nice sofa seats which face each other, sorta like a booth thingy. Also, i dun think it will be tat crowded there compared to other dinner buffets on mainland. Plus, you can watch the mechanical crane dance, musical fountain show, plus walk around RWS, enjoy the breeze etc.

Other less crowded places with nice ambience include 10@claymore and global kitchen at Pan Pac (though the food there is only so so imo).

If you not going for buffet, then your choices are way bigger. With a budget of $75 each, you can actually have a very good ala carte meal at a nice place wor. Eg, salt and grill at top of ion or even equinox.

How abt the choc buffet at the skypark at mbs?

Have a great anniversary dinner!

You want me to put up as official outing? Do give me the agenda for that day.
Okay with this agenda?

Sat 2 Apr

Late morning - Smith St hawker centre (lots of nice food there, eg, steamed fish head, soy sauce chix (very nice!!!), cheese raisin bun, fish porridge, noodles etc. I also like the xlb there. Think there is a famous claypot rice store there?

Late morning - the 2 famous soy sauce chix stalls opp chinatown pt (we can try 1/2 chix each from the 3 stalls in smith st FC, plus the 2 famous ones opps chinatown pt n vote to see which one we prefer ala 'Where the Queue Starts style' 5 thumbs up!!!)

Early afternoon - 味香园

Late afternoon - Dim joy

Food wise - free n easy, whatever tickles your fancy

Thanks for the rec and the wishes. I also had kushi in mind after clicking on bro twtan14 link, cause my gf really love jap cuisine, so I probably will bring her there next week.

Do remember to make a reservation n ask for seats with more privacy. You might want to have a look at their website to see if the more expensive set, with the seasonal item, otoro n jumbo prawns etc, is worth it for you.
