Kim Seng Live Prawn Noodle @ level4 Marina Square food court. S$3.90 promo price. Rating for Makansutra 2009 is 5/6. Tried my friend's soup version with normal prawn soup, very diluted, the tonic soup version is okay thr, full of Chinese herbs taste. The 2 prawns are fresh and very firm as they're still alive minutes ago.

S$3.90 promo

Soon Soon Huat 1A Crispy Curry Puff @ Blk 94, Henderson Road. S$1.30 each. Skin is thin, inside is wet wet type, very delicious and filling. The only thing is too little meat inside.

This claypot rice is not bad. Especially when you drizzle lots of black sauce. Yums.

I can't seem to tell what's a good or bad claypot rice. I t ied the Lucky mentioned above, the geylang one, the commonweaith one, the toa payoh one, chinatown one. Though i like them all, I just can't tell who is more superior. Now, I don't go to lucky, becoz they have the longest waitng time.

BTW, do you guys take out the chicken 1st before you drizzle it with dark sauce, or do it altogehter?

actually yr personal preference is the best indicator to which 1 is superior.
even if lucky is voted the best of the best but if you just simply cannot take their waiting time then it don't matter right?

This is my lunch on monday at Golden Shoe. I tell u, this is 1 of the best hawker centre with the best food n cheapest price available. I visited this Western food stall Called Johnson Western Food. Its managed by 2 grandpas n 2 grandmas (all r cantonese folks) and they r very nice n friendly. Most of all, their food is nice n cheap. For the below meal, it costs $4.

Thumbs up

Alex's Eating House @ 87 Beach Road. S$4 for Dumpling and Char Siew noodle. One of the nicest Char Siew around. Noodle and dumplings are pretty good also.
I concur! This is one of the nicest!
