Hotel buffets are slightly above average in quality, what more of outside ones?

Went for Christmas dinner at Triple 3 with my other half yesterday and was very happy with the dinner, despite it being rather pricey (but not as pricey as Melt which told me it was $168 per pax for Christmas Dinner!).
Service was good and snappy. Sat outside where it wasn't crowded so it was actually better than being inside.

Food wise, it was rather good. Wagyu beef and lamb shank stew totally melt in your mouth.
Oysters, lobsters and snow crab legs aplenty. Sashimi was fresh, though the portions were quite small and you have to queue to get the chef to slice the fish for you. Tempura was fresh and crispy, my favourite for the whole night. Did not really enjoy the Chawanmushi though..taste was good but the egg wasn't silky.

Dessert wise, it was quite small but sufficient. My gf and I loved the special chocolate cake they had last night..the one with the melted chocolate centre. Tried the Saffron Pistachio ice cream and felt it was quite good. Not so sweet but the pistachio taste could have been a bit stronger with more bits of the nuts. Chocolate Fondue wheel abit small and the marshmellows tasted quite stale.

Looking forward to my next meal at Triple 3.

Paid $75++ per pax..so it was way cheaper than Melt.
At that price, it's still quite expensive but well, dinner was good and it kept my other half happy (because I totally forgot I was supposed to bring her out! Hahahaha)..
