The menu for the western stall is practically the same as New Orelans. They also have pork chop and fish & chips. There's even the bangers and mash New Orleans used to offer.
If you bought the Golden Package, I think you can use the meal coupon to eat there.
They have Lobster & burger there. Better go queue early cuz super long Q.
Malaysia ringgit change in genting is worthwhile or change in singapore better rate?
Drive in yong peng will incur toll right?
How much TnG need to top up for travel from SG to Genting, back and fro. Considering making pit stops in some other places in between.
I think change in Singapore better.
Tolls I’m not sure. But will let you know later. Just gonna top up rm100.
Hi,
A few questions.
1) Check in to Genting Resort World Hotel is self check in is it? If I use someone else's Genting card to book, does it matter? The person not travelling with me, or can I just bring passport?
2) Read that Sporean get complimentary silver card, but it's just a silver card with no built in Genting points right?
3) Is there any perks for first timer who sign up the card that I can enjoy? or in general is there any perk that I can enjoy if I bring a Gold card up that doesn't belong to me? Like where don't really check?
4) Any food recommendation or things to do to recommend?
Thanks! Been awhile since I been there.
How do you spend $500 on food in an Genting outlet, just to get a 2% discount for your Skyway ride.#1 I have not stay at Resort Hotel for many years but I suppose the self check in machine should be the same as FWH. Technically you can book using his name and bring his passport along (if he trust u that much!) to book in at the machine. We all know its wrong and risk getting caught out. I would say its probably easier to do at FWH becos there are many machines and there are not many staffs around. Not sure about the check-in situation at Resort but I rem significantly fewer machines.
#2 Yes of cos. New cards will not have any GP.
#3 Yes there are some. I know there's a discount booklet and some surprise.

I think it's better to get your own card. Even if you dun travel to Genting regularly. Even if you spend $500 on food. That's enough to offset your Awanna Skyway ride. It's not much but better than nothing.
#4 Food wise I won't recommend becos everyone's taste is different but I would advise you to avoid the following: Morganfield's, Bar.B.Q Plaza, Sushi Zanmai.
