Decided to explore aeon tebrau city today because got bored of ksl, city square and komtar. Was quoted RM28.50 from JB sentral. FYI!
We took uber only around RM14 but came back the uber driver don't know the location to pick up, took taxi instead, from AEON tebrau city to doubletree by meter is RM38. Super expensive.

Hi guys, I don't think it is safe to walk along the causeway to JB, right ?
I walked with my young son before (from JB to SIN). Very long walk, were very tired after walking. We have no choice cos the buses were not coming, queue were forming extremely long. Waited half an hour but no buses came.

Of course not safe cos no pavement, have to walk at the side of the road. A man told us walk 20 mins but it took more than that around 35-45 mins. We do not know the way and we just followed the crowd. I really feel bad for my son, poor little boy.

I see. Hmm, maybe I should try it out some day. But where does the path starts from inside the checkpoint?
Why want to walk? Very long walk and quite dangerous. Take bus or train better.

sometimes people have no choice but to walk
cox the custom bus doesnt seems to be coming ...

the queue on sat morning 10.30am can be as long as from the boarding point , all the way to the end of the custom ... queue until few rounds of lane ...
if u were to take bus, might need to wait few rounds of buses ...

hence many have chosen to walk about 20min to the malaysia custom
the walkway might not be even, might have uneven pavement
when u have reached, u would be greeted with long queue again ...
need to queue around one hour more, before u would get to city square mall

If yours is a biometric passport like many of ours, then yes, use the scan and thumbprint lanes. Just take note that if you use the manual lanes going there, you'll have to join the manual lanes coming back.

On Saturday, try to be around causeway by 9am, earlier if you can, to avoid the crazy crowd.

Should be biometric, just checked online, those issued after 2006 are biometric

Thanks ~

This morning, around 9.40am, long queue for most counters including DIY counters. Few of them down and the service man was there testing.
But overall, still ok. Not too long in queue.

Going in wasn't an issue, but one-motoring site indicates jam before custom.

Came out around 18.50hr. train ticket sold out only 10pm available. SBS bus queue was.... after coming down from escalator, about 50m away you see human queue. Causeway was already jam after MY custom. Saw buses jamming up when my JB bus turned into JB Sentral terminal.

I pay RM2 and boarded a coach. Flag the driver, he wave me on board, There were only 4 of us and driver drove off. Waited about 35min to clear SG custom in all.

Saturday? Sure? by? car or bus? school holiday started already and the crowd is really getting bigger each and every day. 2 weeks ago, it was also like that, didn't expect this. So it is going to get worse.
Traffic jam starts around 6+ or 7am in the morning. no need to check, I have been checking for the past months. I am still monitoring Sunday noon time and later afternoon coming back to SG traffic condition.
