KSL Mall (Johor)

Be going with my family but normally stay in ksl hotel and this time round we decide to stay the apartment. But how to I go from the mall to the lobby of d'esplanade? Cut through the swimming pool?

You need the access card to enter from KSL mall to D'esplanade~ if not you have to go in to the lobby by D'esplanade carpark entrance~

The access door from KSL mall is just a small door with a long narrow passage~ it's at Ground level, beside FOS, it's hard to spot~

To go-to swimming pool from D'esplanade, you have to goto mscp level 6 walk to KSL hotel carpark, there's a fence gate divided both of the carparks~ you need access card as well~ from KSL hotel carpark take lift up level 7 to go-to swimming pool~ which means you can't access from KSL hotel swimming pool then go to d'esplanade without the access card~

D'esplanade apartments? I didn't get a good deal. The particular apartment I got was not tip-top. Everything worked, but the age and touch-up maintenance showed.

Nice. got bird's eyeview. Which floor to hv this view? And $75/nite for 2BR + living rm is cheaper than hotel (2 rm). Are you able to find enough to do in JB for 3 nites? or you venture further?

19th floor~

my family members usually wake up late, so we have shorter hours day~ my "itinerary":

day 1> goin via 2nd link, breakfast at gelang patah > legoland sealife > Aeon Bukit Indah > check-in KSL in the evening
day 2> Shop at Toppen > back to KSL
day 3> wife go salon at KSL which took abt 3hrs, while we do abit grocery shopping, play claw machine etc (wanna bring kids for swim but it was raining)
day 4> check-out, breakfast at nearby then go back via woodlands causeway

parking is separated from the shopping mall public parking~ need access card to gain entry~ which means for driver, you hv to get the card from the letterbox first before you can drive in~ i stopped at the road side temporary and goto tower A lobby letterbox to retrieve the access cards~ the unit itself is at tower B~

speaking of which, i just stayed 2 nights at Paragon Suites near CIQ~ came back for my long trip from genting → penang → ipoh → kuala serangor~ JB was the last stop for my resting stop and to do up all my laundry~

the unit is more comfy and modern than D'Esplanade~ the jacuzzi bathtub really relaxing and its the main reason why i choose this homestay~ since you driving can also consider~

1 wet kitchen, 1 dry pantry~

total there are 3 toilets~! too many for a 2 bedder~

Even with only 2 pax, can check out those studio apartments. I like that they're bigger and brighter than hotel rooms, nicer for relaxation.

ok, here's the link~ i think once the host re-list his unit, the link will be different~ for 2N stays, total i paid S$151.47~

the jacuzzi bathtub is quite worth it~ the water jet is powerful, pour abit of bath solution, the whole bathtub foam up quickly~ with the RGB light, its quite cool~

Another nice review with pictures and pricing from sunsetbay. so Average is abt $80/nite for 2BR for homestay for Dec holiday period. Competitive vs 2 hotel rooms. A big diff bet homestay vs hotel is u can do laundry. Have you stayed R&F condo before?
