When I was at a travel show couple years back, I did saw a travel agent offer tour to Sekinchan - an interesting place for a short trip.

Its a long journey to get there so try to spent a night there.

I drove there in May for my second visit. I think it is possible to plan your own trip there. Sekinchan can be considered a large village like Kukup. There are coach services that go there from Singapore. The fishing village and associated industries are located in a compact area, all within walking distance and along the sea-front. The paddy fields are across the main road, and within walking distance. It is possible to rent bicycles as well to go deeper into the fields. You can opt from a selection of homestay which can be googled.

If comes to Sekinchan, A+ Boutique Hotel is always the local & tourists priority hotel to stay due to comfortable and good location. The hotel also has a Sky Garden with Playground and Murals are the attractions why people stay in this hotel. We will be staying in this hotel based on twin sharing.

2) Redang beach, Sekinchan

Pantai Redang Beach is especially lively during weekends and public holidays where the market dominates the scene. A stroll down the nice beach is really awesome after a day trip visiting the nice paddy field in Sekinchan.

The special of this temple is located in the middle of paddy fields. A place for pitstop and calm down yourself. You can climb up one of the tower to have the panorama view of paddy field.

A visit to a 3 acre La Familia Orchard where the owner will conduct a farm tour followed by testing on their local products and some stalls selling local fruits - rose apple, papaya, guava, mango (famous Sekinchan milk mango) and jack fruits.
