is oneXox really much cheaper?

The only setback is no 4G. Not entirely cheap since I am using oneXox.

I think Tron is $3 ringgit for 300mb if I recall

I am currently looking at Xpax card by celcom, they seem to have an online shop now, 11street. Not sure if I can reload from there. If can use PayPal on there would be pretty good. It seems to be like qoo10.

I think if you compare the daily one, for oneXox it's $3 for 1gb

Check Digi's website under the T&C for their SIM Card Lifecycle notes.

I believe it's still different for Digi Best and Digi Live.

The grace/inactive period for Live and Smart Prepaid is up to 90 days while Best Prepaid is up to 75 days.

Not sure about small towns. I used it on NSHW so far so good. Fast. Used it in KL as well as Sutera areas

Digi Prepaid Best - Yet Another New Version

Digi Best seems to have another new version, not sure since when exactly:

Digi Prepaid BEST™
Best for International Calls with Free Internet
✓Best Direct Call rates to 10 countries and guaranteed lowest rates to Telenor Friends™
✓Spend RM1/day on IDD and enjoy FREE 1GB high-speed Internet for the rest of the day
✓Free 1GB high-speed Internet everyday (12am-8am)
✓Best Call & SMS rates to 20 Kawan
✓Free Basic Internet

As always, I try to read their T&Cs, especially on SIM Card Lifecycle
Upon activation of a SIM card, the status of SIM card will be updated to Active state that will last for a 10 (Ten)-day period. Active state means a Customer is allowed to make outgoing and incoming calls or sms or any type of services including Internet access.

Onexox is cheap, but the WOW factor you can topup once & use for 28 months. You can store data for 28mths (also) & activate small amounts of data during trip to Msia. Very useful if you go back to SG for few months & come back, finding that you still can call & use data from your previous balance data.
Onexox is the only sim in Msia that has validity of 28mths & can store data for similar period. You'll see other telco having maximum validity of 1mth only (credit barred & data burns past validity period).

Onexox have starter pack choices of:
1. 5GB+ free 5GB (rm30)
2. 10GB+ free 10GB (rm50)
3. 333 Minute calls (rm30)

*free data which is instantly activated for 1mth use. The other data will be stored & can be activated at any time. The data stored are valid for 2yrs 4mth. If you top up again, validity extends for another 2yrs 4mth.

Other than starter pack is the usual season pass.
4. Minute call (Rm90)
5. Data: 20GB (Rm100)
6. Combo: 10GB+333min call (Rm80)

Simcard with rm5 inside costs Rm10.
Hence total for each
1. Rm30+rm10 = ~10SGD
2. Rm50+Rm10 = ~19SGD
3. Rm30+Rm10 = ~10SGD
4. Rm90+Rm10 = ~31SGD
5. Rm100+Rm10 = ~34SGD
6. Rm80+Rm10 = ~28SGD

However i'm very sorry to say that postage to SG charges Rm32.50~10SGD.
But i assure you that i'll guide you to use the simcard efficiently & with integrity.

The data from season pass is stored & also valid for 2yrs 4mth. You can activate it anytime during visit to Malaysia.
**it uses same coverage as Celcom. If Celcom is ok, Xox also ok.

dial *128*1*4# and go into change plan see if you have best 2017 offered.

from the faq.

"11. I am an existing Digi Prepaid subscriber, can I upgrade my current Digi Prepaid plan to the all-new Digi Prepaid BEST™ plan?
Yes, you may perform a Change of Plan (COP) to this all-new Digi Prepaid BEST™ plan by dialing *128*1*4#. However, this option is only available from 18 Aug 2017 onwards, and you must have a validity of less than 60 days to your account to perform this Change of Plan request."

to those planning to get hotlink, it may be better to get hold of the super 2.0 prepaid version instead of fast. in addition to the free weekend data, super 2.0 also comes with free late night data.
