Hmm.. i got my network when i using the local sim card.. but once i changed to digi sim card, no network.
Try to manually select the mobile network to Starhub via your phone setting...

Yup, I always do manual searching too, see if you can get any of the local network here, especially Starhub.

Is yours a Digi Best or Digi Live card?

Yes, you can reload a Digi Live prepaid account.

Don't quite understand which Digi Live you're comparing with, though...

for digi live, when i see the app, it says your balance has expired on 25th april 2019.

so i should count 90 days from now and extend validity on the 90th day (or earlier)?

26th April is your first day of passive period; it will be safer to extend your validity on 85-88th days in case their system is down..

Put a reminder on your mobile calendar...

90 days is roughly 3 months and should be around 22th July for your case.

okay thanks. i just put 85 days. actually if i were to go in JB for few hours (pump petrol, makan) i can actually pay RM1 to extend one day and it also gives me 500MB data which is enough for few hours.

Digi Update

I bought a Digi live and convert the plan to digi best 2017 after one month.

Thinking SLL is only RM38, I topup RM50 and d*mn 365 days validIty is not shown. I top up until RM70 before SLL 180 is shown on mobile app. Digi is putting in effort to even turn off at USSD level.

Prepaid in Malaysia is not the same as Singapore as we using pay as you use / subscribe model. All telco have confusing (newer) prepaid plans with “free” data. To continue to have that number, you have to pay monthly fees.

Even more confusing. Topup is excluded SST or whatever it is now called. Actual value received is lesser.

Expiry date will not stack.

FAQ
1. Why convert? Digi live has no super long life
2. What is the difference between Digi best 20xx? One is the cost of SLL, I haven’t figure the rest.
3. How to topup? Use epay or shopee with Singapore credit card

Now that I realized epay accepted sg credit card.. I don’t feel like walk in JB for my lunch.

IIRC, SLL for new DIGI Best is RM68 for 180 days and RM108 for 365 days.

I think that is the reason why the SLL option was not show on your mobile app until you topped up till RM70.
