Hi all,

I am planning to get a taxi from queen street to larkin.

Saw that since last year sep, passengers has to get down to scan thumbprint.

How does this work? Is it like normal custom clearing where we go to the immigration hall, scan then come down again?

If i am not wrong malaysia also has thumbprint scanning. Need to get down and scan again?

if so defeat entire purpose of taking a taxi which was previously dun need to get down.

Drove in and got finger prints taken via a cable linked scanner at the Malaysia side; 2nd Link. The immigration guy hand you a scanner linked by cable to his machine. We scan in the comfort of our car.
