looking for data valued roaming plans

currently on circles life so it's not the best

is the M1 data passport worth it if I travel to countries like china/japan ?
Circles life have the best base plan data of 28 for 6GB with port in, free CID, but need +$2 for incoming call. CIS gives +1GB free and free incoming.

Other telco now bump their base plan with 3+12GB etc etc, but after the 1 year or 2 years contract gone, you are back to 3GB which sucks big time until recontract. You are definitely going to need to change of lifestyle of data usage.

As for overseas data usage, just get that country sim card. Almost every phone have dual sim now.

You got it wrong for the data. So if you add x3 data, means you will get 6gb data in total (inclusive of the 2gb base you have). But now I think they have a port in bonus of 3gb if you port in from M1 or Starhub.

OK so. 6gb +3gb from Port in. So 9gb for $11. Still good.

Actually you might be better off signing at M1 if you have access to their CIS plan.

His method is ask u sign M1 CIS, then buy phone then sell the phone away then off set your monthly plan.

I don't really follow sim plans, but for the singtel $20 for 20gb, what are the odds that after a year there will still be this promo?

if not will be stuck with 3gb which is quite little

Must see how much data you use lor. If you are fine with 9gb, then singtel is better as you are paying around $11. But if you use more data, then M1 is probably better.

No one will know. It all depends on the market competition then.

Then just switch to whoever is giving the best deal at that time. That's the beauty of these no/short contract plans.

Soon maybe we get 31GB, average 1GB per day. Prices will go down. But 5G is coming, more data is expected to be used even faster.

Just sign up the best plan you can find now. At most is 12 months of contract, not too long and not too short.
