Hiaya here in Singapore people get 20+Gb for $20 already think they struck lottery liao lol.

My colleague from india says to get the same data at home he only need to spend $3.8 a month

At $15 a month can get 140GB.

All their mobile plans including prepaid comes with unlimited SMS, calls and data with throttling after exceeding quota...

Don't think our telcos so generous... their profit margin still very high
Also last time singtel give 1 whole day unlimited data for free also no problem which means their infrastructure can handle much higher use

Hmm, cannot compare to india la. You want to compare also must compare to developed countries. The average wage at India is much lesser. So if their price is high, alot of people cannot afford. In addition, their cost of operation is also lower.

Are there any perks to porting to Singtel's SIM only plan from either StarHub or M1 compared to downgrading from Combo plans?

Must also not forget India's population. There's more people to share the cost of infrastructure.

It's only recently their 4g price drop. Last time cost around Singaporea price until a new Telco called jio came and undercut like mad.

Also 4g mostly infrastructure cost should be recopurated long ago. Probably not that much man power to keep the infrastructure running.

Nice, definitely cheaper on mysim plan. I'm only on the plan with 16GB data. Didn't add on $5 for 25GB as 16GB is quite abundant

We definitely need a generous Telco like Jio with a billionaire backer.

hopefully can disrupt the 3 Telco. Offer very low prices. Like maybe $20 for unlimited data (2GB per day)?
