Hello, i would like to know if it is more worth compare to the combo XO plan ( I have $200 recontract voucher). And is the 20gb for only 1 year?

And is M1 the better choice? The coverage + deals?

Thanks!

I need caller ID. Do u think mobile plan monthly fee will go down within one year? If so, I would rather choose no contract. How much does M1 charge the caller ID? Is there an offer of the $20 simOnly plan in IT Show?

My current contract ends on 22 Mar. Could I sign the contract with M1 now and arrange to port current number to M1 on 22 Mar?
Seeing the situation, pricing probably won't go much lower than now. But data bundle may continue to go up if competition doesn't ease.

$5.35/mth, with $10.70 registration charge.

The mySIM plans promotion (additional data / free Caller ID & Roaming for contractual customers) has been the same since a few weeks ago, no difference at all.

You can do the port over request after signing up M1 line, but you won't get to enjoy the additional 800 mins talktime for 12 months for mySIM 3 plans (port in promotion).

you saying about Combo XO 108?

M1 is definitely cheaper on the monthly subscription, not very sure of the phone.

However, voice and text bundles is lesser, but can add talktime at discounted rates.

Subscription cost inclusive of all VASes (eg Caller ID).

Combo XO 108 - 50+20GB data, 500 mins talk, 500 SMS.
Subscription cost: $113.35/mth

M1 mySIM E 70 - 15+20GB data + 25GB add-on, 100 mins talk + 200 mins add-on, 100 SMS.
Subscription cost: $80/mth (excluding $2.50/mth disc for 200 mins add-on valid till 31/12/19).

Give up 10GB data for $30+/mth discount.

mySIM E 90 - 30GB+20GB data + 25GB add-on, 100 mins talk + 200 mins add-on, 100 SMS.
Subscription cost: $100/mth (excluding $2.50/mth disc for 200 mins add-on valid till 31/12/19).

Get 5GB extra while saving $10+/mth.

Combo XO plans are not eligible for SingTel Circle / CIS discounts, while M1 mySIM E plans are eligible for M1 MSS / CIS discounts.

Coverage tho... It's always dependent on your location. For me it's mostly fine, rarely have issues nowadays.

Well.. a stranger said she lost 4g network the same time as I. So i asked and found out that she is on M1 while im on circles.

So i guess the network outages have nothing to do with circles and everything with M1.

Anyway yesterday I was notified that circles based plan data has increased from 6gb to 20gb. I have upgraded. But boy... how to finish using the data? The most i use 7gb in a month and that is considering that i spam youtube videos as much as i can

Lmao just use the My Singtel app. The helpline works all the time.

Singtel - Expensive, poor customer service hotline, always have other charges.

M1 - Sometimes some areas will have weaker reception. Coverage still ok.
Starhub - Poor reception, often 4G speeds are slow
Thanks.

Max plan is $102/mth.

You can only change to mySIM E 118. mySIM E 90 and below will be considered early termination.

Max+ have the $500 annual handset voucher, and is part of M1 Sunriser.

mySIM E 118 has unlimited everything (voice/text/call), capped at 50GB full speed + 1Mbps thereafter. Even the Max+ with Upsized Data Super only yields 49GB data with no unlimited data at throttled speeds.

Thanks for the advice and info!

Actually circle life should be the cheapest now after the $120 cash back esp if you seldom send SMS.

20GB data
100 min talk time
25 sms
Free caller ID
NO contract

Price is S$28. If you port over got S$120 cash back, credited into ur account at S$10 per month. Mean in total, S$28 - $10 = S$18 per month only.

It's better than M1 MySim20.

You change to MySIMe but did not get the extra free 10GB?
Was told only given when Sign contract as new or recontract. Offer not valid when you are still in contract with other plans (Lite+, Reg, Reg+, etc) to mySIMe plans.

so far in my research m1 seems like a winner

https://www.m1.com.sg/personal/mobile/plans

$25
M1 $20 + $5 =
talktime 100mins
SMS 100
Data 5GB+10GB + (the $5 for 25gb and throttled unlimited) (total unthrottled bandwidth = 40GB)
free caller id (if contract 12 month)

Data Add-on is applicable for local usage only. Data Add-on is not applicable for Data Passport usage.
(ie: only the initial 5gb is applicable for data passport. this makes foreign local sim more attractive unless you get mysim (50) plan $50+$5)
M1 does not give unlimited Data when you add the $5 for 25GB add-on.

M1. mySIM3 20. No Contract.
$20. 3GB + 12GB. 100 mins/sms.
$25. 40GB. 100 mins/sms.
Caller-ID at $5.35.
(ONLY 3GB AVAILABLE FOR DATA PASSPORT)

Starhub. $25 plan. No Contract.
$25. 3GB + 10GB. 100 mins.
$45. 63GB. 100 mins.
Free Caller-ID. Free weekend Data.

Circle Life. Base Plan. No Contract.
$30. 6GB + 14GB. 100mins 25sms.
$50. 40GB to unlimited. 100mins 25 sms.
Free Caller-ID.

Seems Circle.Life only gives $60 cashback. So have to port to M1 after 6 months? Or how to ask for $120?

Starhub - Poor reception, often 4G speeds are slow
based on hearsay or personal experience??
I've been using Starhub postpaid for slightly more than a year now and this is the kind of speed I usually get, and I find it totally usable and not slow at all.
