Hi guys

I'm currently on the mySIM(3) 20 plan that will expire on 13 Aug but I can change plan to the $25 for 30GB now

Just curious how will pro-rating work ah?

Also will "Free Caller Number Display for 3 months for new sign-ups" apply in my case of changing of plan?

Sorry, i don't get it why better than singtel sim only? For 20$, st sim only give 15 gb, 500 mins, 500 sms, free caller id (when you port in). Unless you treat 12 month lock in period as disadvantage.

To get free caller id, just jump to other telco first and joint back to st. Cmiiw

Although i still prefer gomo or giga actually. Give slightly more data.

Of course 12 mths lock in is a disadvantage, its still a contract. Furthermore, on the 13th mth its revert back to only "bare 3gb data plan", you have to remember end of contract date. I am not sure how st charges if one forgot and using the fone like normal days. sh sim only, you dont have to worry all these.

If you pay by GIRO, you will get 100 free SMS monthly.
How about CC recurring payment?

Is it mentioned in the FAQ?

Starhub SIM only:

+ Free weekend data
+ $20 for next 24 months
+ No contract
+ Caller ID free

- Little outgoing talk time
- No SMS

Yes that's my concern after 12 months.

All the charges after that.

Wait for st to advertise free caller ID or call them to ask for it

I see, if one of your consideration is free weekend data then cannot fight with starhub. I don't really mind for free weekend data since my main usage is on weekdays. Different stroke for different folks i guess.

My only concern with starhub is the signal coverage. Maybe shall try for 1 month first since it is no contract. Thanks.

The 1 year SIM only plan has a free caller ID the last time I checked.

As a StarHub Mobile subscriber, you can enjoy FREE 100 SMS/MMS per month when you pay with recurring credit card payment. This is not applicable for SharePlus Plan's Dependent Line(s), DataPack and Employee Plan.

Note that the reception differs widely too if that's a criteria.

Was on Singtel for last few years, port over to circles and can feel the difference. Eg stream YouTube or browse web pages can feel noticeably slower. Voice quality is not as clear too.

Starhub is the worst, go underground walkway and signal will disappear for while. Else just enough for chats, forget about browsing.
