I change it before for my parents card.
To double confirm, before you change, just ask the counter guy at Singtel hello shop.

I don't recommend cutting the sim card.

Not sure about this one. Where is this stated?

I used Micro Sim card for my SingTel Combo 2 postpaid plan and when I needed to change to Nano Sim when getting an iPhone 6S in September 2015, I was charged S$38.

So I will be surprised that prepaid will be different or not.

For the Starhub prepaid cards we chose to cut the Sim cards ourselves. It is not difficult. I printed out the instructions from the web and my wife cut the sim cards.

There are also sim card cutting tools. Or some small shops may offer the services for a small fee.

Yes, the cso mention that the 38$ will be credited to the new sim card.

For cutting of sim card, if the sim damage after we cut it. Is there any way to retrieve the number back? I remember it is not possible.

Good to hear the confirmation. In that case do not cut the SIM card.

Highly not recommend.
Yes you will be able to replace a new sim when spoiled. Cutting of the sim might affect the quality and going thru the hassle isn't it more troublesome.

Older sim card might be on 3G only.

I port to starhub already. Thanks for your reply.
Buy the 8$ sim and get 10 dollar main balance and 800mb of data. I need to go to singtel shop to get the iccid number from singtel prior porting. The queue at singtel take me 15-20 min while there is no queue at starhub shop. Such a contrast.

iccid# of sim card is imprinted on it.

iphone - setting > general > about > iccid
andriod - Settings >About Phone or About Device > Status > ICCID or IMEI Info
