Now my actual first bill come and I am a bit of shock.

When I first subscribed in early April 2020, paid $30 upfront but it is not considered as first bill. So my 1st May 2020 bill came today and considered 1st bill. No $20 credit

1st Month: 1st April - $30
2nd Month: 1st May (1st Bill) - $30
3rd Month: 1st June (2nd Bill) - $10
4th: 1st July -$10
5th: 1st Aug - $10
6th: 1st Sep - $10
7th: 1st Oct - $10
8th: 1st Nov - $10

As you can see, best to sign up towards end of the month before the new month as it is pro rated.

$120 for 8 months is $15 on average.

My iPhone shows 5.9GB utilised. While the website of CMLink said I have 13GB left....

That's almost double!
Cannot trust these company. Just like in China, if you buy thing in one catty (1斤), it is actually 500gm and not international standard of 600gm! This is like 20% different!

Did they credit $30(paid during signup) to your 1st May Bill?

I was not credited. My 1st May Bill is total of $59....

I think they target tiong market. Spore gotch 400K tiong working here, market ish big enough. :s22:

Most of them should be using prepaid. Dun think they are the target group.

Prepaid got free IDD calls etc. and huge amount of data and talktime or sms comparing to sim only even.

moreover, they will be using data as they are mainly using WeChat to call home.

Most probably, targeting customers who travel between Singapore and HK/CN frequently.

Prepaid notch cheap leh.

not really. prepaid is quite cheap.

for your info, for foreign workers, they need to pay deposit to sign postpaid line also. Majority of them will not do it.

Most of them are on prepaid. Prepaid also have a lot of ongoing promo to attract users especially new users.

I face the same issue.

Received the CMLink SIM card on 8 Apr.
1st bill came on 1 May with no $20 discount
- Apr $23
- May $30
I didnt expect the 1st bill to include 2months.

Will Jun bill automatically take into account the $20 discount? Or will this Jun $20 discount be applied for Jul bill? The FAQ says that Jun $20 discount can be used for Jun bill. But we do not know of any "tricks" that may surface.
- Jun $30 & $20 discount
- Jul $30 & $20 discount
- Aug $30 & $20 discount
- Sep $30 & $20 discount
- Oct $30 & $20 discount
- Nov $30 & $20 discount

So total paid = $15 per month

Anyone knows what the termination procedure is? Immediate or must serve notice? The customer service email responds quickly, but can't get them to understand my question

month 1: $15
month 2: $5
month 3: $5
month 4: $5
month 5: $5
month 6: $5

It should according to their t&c, do let us know if they play any tricks.
• Bonus credit of $10 will be deposited into your account before statement cutoff date for 6 consecutive times, starting from the 2nd bill.

Btw is the data connection in SG a local IP/exit node or "roaming" on China Mobile's network in SG?
